How to integrate EasyPost with TCGTracking

Connect EasyPost to purchase postage, print carrier labels, and streamline your order fulfillment directly inside TCGTracking.

Overview

EasyPost is a shipping API that powers TCGTracking's label purchasing and e-postage features. Once connected, you can buy USPS e-stamps and Ground Advantage carrier labels without ever leaving your TCGTracking dashboard.

This integration is only required if you want to purchase postage through TCGTracking. Free USPS Informed Visibility tracking works without EasyPost.

Setup steps

Create or log in to your EasyPost account

If you do not already have an EasyPost account, create one for free at easypost.com.

Go to EasyPost

Important - Account activation: After signing up you may need to contact EasyPost Support to finalize and activate your account before it can be used for integrations.

Generate your API key

Once your account is active, navigate to Account Settings, API Keys to find your Production API key.

If you do not see the API Keys section it means your account is still on hold. Go back to Step 1 and contact EasyPost Support to get your account activated.

Copy your Production API Key - you will need this in Step 4.

Fund your EasyPost account

Before you can purchase labels you need to add funds to your EasyPost wallet.

Payment options:

ACH (Bank transfer) - No extra fees. Recommended.
Debit card - Available but carries a 3.75% processing fee per transaction.

Auto Reload vs One Time Funding: If One Time Funding shows an error, email EasyPost Support to request access as it may need to be enabled on your account.

Connect EasyPost to TCGTracking

Head to your TCGTracking dashboard and open the Integrations settings.

Find EasyPost in the Available Integrations list
Click the settings icon on the right
The Configure EasyPost Integration dialog will appear

Paste your Production API Key into the first field
Paste your Test API Key into the second field
Click Update

Once connected you will see the status show as Active in Production mode.

Troubleshooting

API key not working

Double-check that you copied the full Production API key with no extra spaces. Make sure you are not using the Test key.

API Keys section not visible in EasyPost

Your account is on hold. Contact EasyPost Support to activate your account before continuing.

Error when trying to use one-time funding

One-time funding requires manual activation by EasyPost. Email their support team to request access.

Labels not generating after connecting

Make sure your EasyPost wallet has sufficient funds and your shipping details are fully set up.
